Far North JoyFest
Joy Fest is a fun and inspiring day out the first Health, Wellness and Conscious Living festival in the Far North!
About Joy Fest
Far North Joyfest is a family-friendly event that combines health and well-being with conscious living.
It takes place at Butler Point, Hihi, in the Far North of New Zealand in early January.
The Far North is blessed with an abundance of beauty, but also with an abundance of people offering ideas, teachings and services that can really help us all to Live Our Best Life.
Venue
Butler Point offers us the perfect location.
We chose this venue due to the different areas of interest, the beautiful passages between specific areas, the views out to the ocean and the warm energy that you feel on arrival. Wonderful gardens that house beautiful flora and fauna as well as huge trees.
Get Involved
The Far North Joyfest Group was established as a not for profit organization comprised of individuals who share a vision of creating a healthier and happier place for us all to live, work, and be.
You can book a stall, donate, become a sponsor, participate as a volunteer or join the committee. We are always looking out for great new collaborations, so feel free to reach out to us.
Book a Stall
We have 3 types of stall themes to choose from: food, craft and healing.
Prices are as follows:
food $80 if before end Oct / $120 after,
craft $40 if before end Oct / $80 after,
healing $60 before end Oct / $100 after.

We will get in touch to confirm your booking and give payment details.
Please note if for any reason we have to cancel the event we will offer a full refund or the ability to pay it forward to the following year.
Become a Sponsor
An unprecedented opportunity to be part of this unique event and to support the Far North of New Zealand. A chance to get face to face with potential customers and to increase your profile in the North.
Support us by Donation
The Far North Joyfest is currently organized by a team of volunteers and is set up as a not for profit organization.
We are really keen to ensure that anyone can attend but we acknowledge that some people will struggle with an entrance fee, each year we try to offer a reduced ticket price or some other means for people to access our event.
If you feel the call to help others attend or you simply want to support what we are doing with a donation of any size we would be so grateful.
The bank account is Far North Joyfest Group, 06 0350 0864159 00
Become a Volunteer
We always need about 20 people to help us on the day in various roles from welcoming people as they arrive, looking after the car parking, ensuring people are safe, helping our stallholders set up and pack down.
In return, we offer a yummy breakfast and a donation towards your lunch as well as time off to enjoy the event.
If you would like more detailed information of what’s involved here is the volunteers briefing pack or give us a call – Rut our volunteer coordinator on 021 021 83183
Become a part of Committee
The event is run by the Far North Joyfest Group, a group of volunteers who help to plan and bring into reality this amazing event. This is a chance to get involved in how the festival is run and managed, what’s included on the day and how it develops over the coming years. We meet once a month as the event gears up and this can be in person or via Skype. We do a lot of decision making via Messenger which makes things nice and easy.
So if you are feeling inspired and want to help ensure Far North Joyfest continues to flourish give our current Chair Hari Bans a call to find out more 021 570 126.

“I’ve really enjoyed the festival. Thank you heaps to all the organisers and volunteers that made this fest possible!”
“Thank you so much for the Joyfest. I enjoyed it very much… wonderfully clear energy went into the intention, choosing of space, energising the space, holding of the space, protection for guests and wonderful entertainment and upliftment experiences. Peace, harmony, expansion and love were present in abundance!
